Flipping the classroom

Posted 18 August 2014

The redevelopment of the UNSW Business School ground floor into new generation ‘flipped’ learning and teaching spaces is now complete.

This $3.5M project delivered:

  • two 70-student classrooms
  • two 49-student classrooms
  • two informal study areas
  • student study pods for private discussions.

The beautifully designed, brightly coloured spaces are receiving positive feedback from teaching staff, students and visitors alike.

Known collectively as The Place (Peer Learning and Collaborative Exchange), these flexible and technology-enriched new spaces provide an environment specifically designed for active and social learning, creating a strong community of learners.
