Make the right call in an emergency

Posted 9 September 2014

If there is an emergency anywhere on a UNSW campus – be it a laboratory, a college, a clinic or a classroom – make sure you make the right call to get help as quickly as possible.

Security Services’ emergency number is the best one to call when you need urgent help – 9385 6666. Our security staff will ask you the right questions and liaise immediately with emergency services to ensure help gets to your location fast.

With Security Services’ assistance, the police, ambulance or fire brigade will be directed to the best campus gate to access the emergency. Security Services will escort the vehicles to the location, ensuring they don’t get lost and can gain quick access to restricted areas.

You can also find the Security Services emergency number under the ‘Emergency’ tab in the Uni-Verse app, or by searching for ‘emergency’ on the UNSW website. It is also listed on the back of your UNSW ID card.

For all other security enquiries, please call the general Security Services line on 9385 6000.
