Print and Graphic Design Services at UNSW

Posted 20 November 2014

During 2014, Facilities Management conducted a comprehensive tender process with a panel of University stakeholders for print and graphic design services on campus.

The outcome of this process is that the print and design functions of the former Print Post Plus (P3) now operate under a different service delivery model.

Print services

The contract for campus print room services (including digital print services and offset print management) was awarded to Ricoh, now operating from the GreenPrint Centre on Level 1 of the Mathews Building F23.

To log a print job, download a requisition form and either email or go to the counter at the GreenPrint Centre on Level 1 of the Mathews Building.

The P3 desk at the UNSW Art and Design (Paddington Campus) has now closed. Staff and students can continue to access print services at Kensington Campus as outlined above.

Graphic design services

For graphic design services, the tender panel recommended the establishment of a design register, which is now managed by Marketing Services.

The register lists the contact details for designers and design agencies recommended by UNSW departments.

The designers and agencies on the register have all completed UNSW brand training. They will be required to liaise with Marketing Services on the use of the UNSW brand and present all work for review prior to printing.

To access the register, log in to myUNSW when click on the yellow ‘UNSW Branding Requirements’ button on the left side of the home page.

If you would like to discuss the designers listed, please contact Marketing Services on branding@unsw.edu.au or extension 53777.

Stationery orders

Ricoh is now managing the design and print of stationery. You can continue to lodge requests for stationery via email or the online order form. This is the only way staff can order UNSW stationery, as there are set templates which must be adhered to.

Thank you for your patience while UNSW transitions into this new service delivery model.
