Lost Property

UNSW Security and Traffic Management are responsible for the handling and management of Lost and Found Property. All found items are registered into the Lost Property database. Lost property found on and off campus is held at Security Office Gate 2 for a period of one (1) month.

Please help us return lost property by writing your name and student number on books, notes, folders and other items whenever possible.

Note: Perishable items, food containers and drink bottles are not stored for hygiene reasons.

Finding lost property

Please hand in any lost items to the Library, Campus Security at Gate 2, Security and Traffic Management, Level 2 Mathews Building, or to any Security Officer. Campus Security will attempt to contact the owner by phone, email or by letter, if the item is identified. If a lost item received is unidentifiable, Campus Security will hold the item for one (1) month before disposing of it.
