UNSW Sydney’s main campus and UNSW Art & Design campus are both located in the eastern suburbs. You can get here easily on public transport, by car or bike.
UNSW Sydney is located in Kensington. If you are coming from Central station or the CBD, you can catch the Light Rail to campus. There are two Light Rail stops to UNSW. You can catch the L2 Randwick Light Rail service to the UNSW High St stop, which is opposite our Gate 9 entrance or you can catch the L3 Kingsford Light Rail service to the UNSW Anzac Parade stop, located at the lower campus entrance to UNSW on Anzac Parade.
There are also a number of bus services you can catch to the UNSW campus from Central station and the CBD.
If you need to get between UNSW Sydney campus in Kensington, and UNSW Art & Design campus in Paddington, you can catch the Courtesy Bus during semester, excluding weekends and public holidays. You can find out more here.
There is a dedicated cycle path from Central station to the Kensington campus. You can use any of the over 1000 bike parking spots, multiple shower facilities, and drinking fountains. You can also request access to the Barker Street Bike Store, a secure parking facility with space for 35 bikes per day, which also has lockers for use. You can find out more here.
If you are commuting from a nearby suburb, consider walking to campus. You can enjoy mental and physical health benefits. Access UNSW Sydney through entryways on all sides of campus upon your arrival.
