Roundhouse Public Domain Project

The area around the recently refurbished iconic Roundhouse venue on lower campus will be transformed in 2020 with a creative and fun new path of discovery.

The Roundhouse public domain project will see the area between Pool Lawn and the Squarehouse, which interfaces with Anzac Parade and runs parallel to the University Mall, redeveloped into an alternate entry to UNSW Sydney’s Kensington campus.

The vision is that students, staff, and visitors to UNSW Sydney will be able to enjoy this new way to enter the lower campus as well as socialise and relax.

The project responds to our Strategy 2025 vision to shape safe, inclusive and vibrant campus environments that facilitate a sense of community and social engagement.

The completion of this innovative project will closely coincide with the light rail L3 Kingsford line's opening in March 2020.
